Bill Fortner started Blue Label after 27 years in the trade
Bill spent twenty seven years working in cooling and heating before he ever put his own name on a van. In 2019 he started Blue Label Services in Cypress, and he did not start it alone. His two sons and his daughter came into the business with him, and the company has stayed a family operation from the first job to the one it is running today. His son Tom, who grew up around the work, went on to write his own book about it, Getting the Most From Your Texas Home.
That history is why the crew still runs its own insulation work rather than handing it to a subcontractor, and why the technicians customers keep naming in their reviews, Scott and Nick among them, tend to stay long enough for people to remember their names. Repairs are guaranteed for three full years, and if the same part fails inside that window it is replaced at no cost to the original owner. Blue Label works out of Cypress and across Houston, Katy, Tomball, Spring, Magnolia, Bellaire and Missouri City. The office answers the phone 8am to 8pm, Monday through Saturday, and is closed Sunday.
